Tattiriya Upanishad reveals, अन्नं ब्रह्मेति व्यजानात्‌। अन्नाद्‌ध्येव खल्विमानि भुतानि जायन्ते। अन्नेन जातानि जीवन्ति। He knew food for the Eternal. For from food alone, it appeared, are these creatures born and being born they live by food, and into food they depart and enter again. Some of the scriptures consider Anna: as the first manifestation of Brahman. With a view to having pure and nutritious as well as delicious food for the body, a dedicated team of personnel under the loving and professional guidance of a Monk is running one of the main units of the Complex, viz. Sarada Randhanshala and Annapurna Dham, the Central Kitchen and Dining Hall respectively. The loving nature and dedication of the entire team under the constant supervision of monks enabling the Students, Staff, Guests, Visitors and Needy People to have food in different form and time like breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Refreshment, Dinner all through the year irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, language, sects and gender.     

                     

 

 

This Unit is professionally run with the regular use of modern equipment and gadgets. In order to reduce the fuel cost, Steam Cooking System, C.N.G. pipe line and waste wood materials are also used. 

                     

 

Annapurna Dham or the Central Dining Hall is of 4000 sq.ft. The 1^st floor is generally used for serving Mid-Day Meal for the Day Scholars (Class III – VIII). The seat capacity of this floor is 500. The ground floor is used for dual purposes, i.e. for dining and storage as well. 

Vishwakarma  Jalajog (Canteen)    :               Vishwakarma Jalajog, the canteen in the Educational Complex, duly managed by the Team I.T.I., caters to the need of the Students, Staff, Guardians and visitors. The renovated Cafeteria was inaugurated on 12^thJuly 2022 by Rev. Srimat Swami Girishanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. Apart from packaged food and soft drinks, quality cooked food (Lunch/Refreshment) for the Hostellers/ Ashramites are also available.
